Die VDE Pfingstexkursion Nachrichtentechnik geht dieses Jahr nach Berlin. Dort besuchen wir die Unternehmen Desay SV Automotive, albis-elcon, das Fraunhofer Heinrich-Hertz-Institut, Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity und NVIDIA.
Es erwarten euch Werksführungen, Showrooms und Fachvorträge von Unternehmen die in den Bereichen Automotive, Medizintechnik, Cybersecurity, Netzwerktechnik und mehr tätig sind. Für euch die perfekte Gelegenheit Kontakte in die Industrie zu knüpfen, Praktikumsplätze zu finden oder einen zukünftigen Arbeitgeber für den Berufseinstieg.

Start: 22.05.24 8:00 in Dresden
Ende: 24.05.24 15:00 in Dresden

Die An- und Abreise nach Berlin erfolgt per Reisebus. Wir übernachten 2x im enjoy city Hotel Berlin Messe. Für Studierende beträgt der Teilnehmerbeitrag 44€ für VDE-Mitglieder (VDE-Mitgliedschaft ist im 1. Jahr kostenfrei), 88€ für nicht-Mitglieder und beinhaltet die Kosten für den Bus und Unterkunft (Halbpension).

The VDE Pfingst-Excursion on communications engineering is going to Berlin this year. We will visit the companies Desay SV Automotive, albis-elcon, the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity and NVIDIA.
You can expect factory tours, showrooms and specialist presentations from companies working in the fields of automotive, medical technology, cybersecurity, network technology and more. For you this is the perfect opportunity to make industry contacts, find internships or career entry positions.

We travel to Berlin by coach bus and will stay two nights at the enjoy city Hotel Berlin Messe. The participation fee for students is 44€ for VDE members (VDE membership is free for the first year), 88€ for non-members. It includes the cost of the bus and accommodation.

2nd SAE Summer Academy on Energy

From 23rd to 28th August, 2015, the 2nd SAE Summer Academy on Energy will be held in Budapest, Hungary. The main goal of the summer academy is to plan the basics of a sustainable electric power system for a fictional country, to establish a reliable power grid with different kind of power plants, in accordance with the geological conditions, industrial and residential consumer demands as well as with the environmental and economic considerations for the available power plants.

An Undergraduate and MSc students from all over Europe can apply for the SAE2. Please note that the number of participants is limited, and the order in which applications are received will be taken into account!

Master barbecue

As there are many new Master students and students who start not in the first semester we are organizing a Master barbecue for you so that you can get to know the other Master students. When you have finished your Bachelor´s degree you already know how the main university stuff works and would like to get to know the people who have the same classes. So the Master barbecue will be the perfect opportunity for you.

It will take place right after the orientation lecture for Master students next to pond at the Barkhausenbau on Tuesday, October 7th at 1pm. We hope tp see you there!
