Our student magazine BARNews is published in irregualar intervals, mostly once or twice a semester, in unknown number of copies and absolutely unforeseen. Copies can be obtained in the BARkhausen-Bau and is out off stock shortly aftern being published. The stock of regular readers include students and teachers of our faculty alike.

To do: Write about whatever you like and all that shall detract students from following their lectures. English articles welcomed!

Whether it be the cozy Chrismas party (WeiFei) or the biggest summer event on the Barkhausen floors (ETEFETE), all our parties need a lot of helping hands to run smothly.

To to: work out a program, help serving drinks, babecue steaks, toss pancakes, collect money

You can convince people doing the ‘right’ thing by just talking to them? You want to make changes in your course of study because some subjects are missing? Then it’s best for you to use your talent by joining the Stuko! (Teaching and learning committee)

To do: Attend monthly meetings with professors and 5 other students and persuade them to improve your course of study.

Mentor:

Every year in October the ESE-Woche (Fresher’s week) takes place. Help the new-commers to orientate themselves in their new surrounding and explain all this confusing stuff.

To do: Answer questions of the new-comers, have fun while exploring the university, Altstadt and Neustadt with them
